Tier 2 — Advanced & Upper-Division Mathematics

Applies automatically to ALL of the following courses, regardless of session focus:

  • Calculus II & III

  • MATH 350 — Linear Algebra

  • MATH 360 — Differential Equations

  • MATH 370 — Discrete Mathematics

  • MATH 380 — Probability & Mathematical Statistics

  • MATH 410/420 — Real Analysis

  • MATH 430 — Abstract Algebra

  • MATH 470 — Advanced / Capstone Topics

$90/hour (online)

$100/hour (in-person)

Rate Determination Policy

Rates are determined strictly by course level, not by the type of help requested.
Any course classified as Calculus II or higher, or numbered MATH 350 and above, is billed at the Tier 2 rate, even if the session is “just homework help,” review, or exam preparation.
Tier 1 rates apply only to the courses listed under Tier 1.
